I received the following email from Amazon.com today:

My first thought was “April Fool!” but it’s a day late for that, and the link goes to a real listing for the book.
Via X-Files News, who also have a 3-minute retrospective video (with lots of audience shipper squealing).
David Cross makes the announcement on the Bob and David website: he and his Mr. Show counterpart Bob Odenkirk sold their pilot pitch to HBO and begin filming… well, he says early March, but that’s past already. Honestly it’s hard to tell from the post whether they just got the green light to film the pilot or the series was actually picked up. But the really important question is, will we see the return of “Choo Choo” the Hurkey Jerky Dancer? Only time will tell.
Holy fudge, has it really been 6 years since Neon Golden came out? Their new one The Devil, You + Me (due in June on Domino) features appearances by a 20-piece modern jazz orchestra (yikes) but they released an MP3 for the opening track “Good Lies” and it sounds very much like the Notwist we knew and loved in 2002. Hooray!
Track list:
Good Lies (MP3)
Where In The World
Gloomy
Alphabet
The Devil, You & Me
Gravity
Sleep
On Planet Off
Boneless
Hands On Us
Gone Gone Gone

The March issue of Performer magazine is online now with my review of Yesan Damen’s album Chronos/Kairos about 3/5 of the way down this page.
I also forgot to point out my appearances in the February issue:

Feral Children’s Second to the Last Frontier, fourth review on this page…

And a live review of Immaculate Machine, Speaker Speaker, and Velella Velella at the Vera Project (photo by me, taken from the Performer website), second to last on this page.
